JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Consul-vation, Inc. is seeking to fill two Help Desk Engineer positions. The ideal applicant will have
at least 3-5 years of experience applying help desk/troubleshooting skills in a networking
environment. This position provides first and occasional second level support for
multiple clients utilizing different platforms and environments, and remote support
for small to medium sized networks in diverse industries including travel, manufacturing,
hospitality, and professional services, for clients with offices in the US, Canada
and India. This role offers the motivated candidate the opportunity to advance to
Junior Engineer, Systems/Project Engineer, and Consulting positions, providing higher-level
support, as well as working on the design and implementation of projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

and non-technical people.

Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Responsibility as a self-motivated team member, with a passion for technology, and
both mentored and independent learning.

Applicants should posses experience supporting end-users in the following areas:
Basic comprehension of TCP/IP based Windows environments.
Experience with various PC and Server Backup methods and software.
Understanding of basic productivity applications such as email, word processing,
spreadsheets, web browsers, etc.
A basic understanding of networking infrastructure such as routers, firewalls,
and switches.
Familiar with remote control software such as VNC, Remote Desktop, DameWare,
etc.
Knowledge of applications such as FTP clients, anti-virus, anti-spyware, and
diagnostic tools.
Experience with a variety of hardware manufacturers and software vendors.
Basic installation and troubleshooting of Windows 2000, XP and Vista platforms.
Some experience setting up/troubleshooting PC's and servers with operating
systems and applications.
Experience with Mac OS is a plus.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and a vehicle. At this time we cannot accept applications/resumes

COMPENSATION:
The starting salary for this position is between $38,000 and $50,000.
